Pete Buttigieg has visited the lighthouse with his family and did the climb at least twice in the summer of 2025.

CBS Saturday Morning Dana Jacobson (former Traverse City news anchor) Visited the lighthouse summer of 2023 and enjoyed the climb to the lantern deck.

Carter Oosterhouse has visited the lighthouse in 2025 and climbed the tower with his daughter.

Terry Moran, Washington D.C. reporter for ABC visited our lighthouse with his family in the summer of 2021.

January 2023 the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile visited the lighthouse! Fun day for all visitors to the park.
